Yemaya
Yemaya is the great mother, ruling over the seas of the planet. She is maternal and nurturing, but also fierce at times. When she is angered, her punishments can be horrible. She is although fair minded and forgiving when proper remorse is shown. She wears a long flowing dress made of seven layers, white and blue. This is said to represent the seven seas and when she dances, her skirt reflects the waves. Showing her immense power when she builds speed. She is kept in soup tureen that is blue and flowered.
When Yemaya goes to war for her children, she wields a machete and none can go against her. Her children are known to be independent women who know what they want and when they want it. She loves luxury and beautiful surrounding, her children following her footsteps. Yemaya will always listen and shows her love to those that need a mother.
